About B.Sc. Operation Theater
The B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology is related to all the work and management of the operation theatre. The course prepares students for managing the patients as well as for monitoring the ins and outs of an operation theatre. During the study, the students are responsible for looking after all the surgical instruments as well as their sterilization. Students assist the surgeon during operations and closely look after the drugs, anesthetic gases, drapes and sterilization requirements during surgery.
In addition, minor tasks of arranging operation theatre table, instrument table, anesthesia table and managing the staff prepares a professional Operation Theatre Technician.
