B.Tech in Computer Science Admission Process
There are two ways of getting admission in the B.Tech in computer science programme -
Some institutions reserve a certain number of seats as management quota seats and candidates willing to apply for admission in these management quota seats have to just fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. No entrance exam scorecard is required in this scenario.
Entrance Test Based - Candidates have to appear in any national-level, state-level or institute level entrance test and clear the same with the minimum required marks. Based on the candidates’ score in the entrance exam, the institute prepares a merit list and based on the merit list counselling process is conducted. Through the counselling process, the eligible candidates are allocated seats in the B.Tech CSE programme.
Merit Based - In this process, the marks obtained by the candidates in their respective qualifying examinations are considered for preparing a merit list. Based on the merit list, the counselling process is conducted and the final allocation of seats is done.
